Thank you for your interest in hosting an AMATYC Traveling Workshop – Bringing Ideas to You! AMATYC Traveling Workshops are professional development tailored for you, offered at your institution or affiliate conference, and the Traveling Workshop Facilitator (presenter) is of your choosing.

A Traveling Workshop enables you (the Traveling Workshop Director) an opportunity to bring a preferred professional development opportunity to your location. Start by choosing a Traveling Workshop strand, which is a mathematical topic of interest for your TW. You will provide a list of goals that you wish to accomplish when you submit your TW request. Everything is set by YOU!, including the date and time which will allow your faculty and others from your region the ability to attend with minimal travel cost. The cost of a TW is of course dependent on several factors, including the length of the TW, facilitator honorarium and travel costs, as well as other incidentals such as snacks or copying.

Ready to learn more? Click on the 'FAQ' tab above or 'Other' tab above to learn more about our Traveling Workshop Strands, Grants, or how to become a Traveling Workshop Facilitator.

Ready to send a request for a Traveling Workshop? Click on the 'Request' tab, complete the form, and someone will be in contact with you soon.

Our Traveling Workshop flyer is an excellent summary of information that you can easily share. If you have any questions, please send an email.
